We are looking for dependable individuals who are self-starters and willing to work as a center dispatch agent. Dispatchers are highly professional, courteous, and friendly while gathering and providing information to customers and vendors.
DUTIES
You will be trained to dispatch emergency roadside service, primarily focused on tire-related breakdowns. This job includes interacting with customers as well as service providers coast to coast in the USA and Canada, as well as managing incoming customer calls and facilitating appropriate resolutions with Goodyear Tire Dealers. This is a VERY high call volume and fast-paced position.
PAY & BENEFITS
• Pay rate starts at $13.00/hr with an annual 25 cent raise

PAID TRAINING
During training, you can expect your trainer to walk you through each program and paint the overall “big picture” of the position as well as shadow a live agent and listen in on different scenarios you will likely encounter as a live agent. Once training is complete, you will be assigned to your normal schedule with a Goodyear Team Lead. Training will last approximately 4 weeks. The shift that you train on will be the shift you will work on.
You will have a mandatory orientation the Friday before your start date. This will last approximately 2-3 hours. Goodyear will ensure you have the proper equipment to begin training. If you do not, you will not move forward.

1st Shift Training (Monday – Friday) 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
2nd Shift Training (Monday – Friday) 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm
3rd Shift Training (Sunday – Thursday) 10:30 pm – 7:00 am
SHIFTS
Goodyear Fleet HQ is a 24/7 call center and their shifts have staggered hours (that are first come first served) versus set hours. Snelling cannot guarantee a certain schedule. You will be scheduled for an 8.5-hour shift to support a mandatory 30-minute meal period. You will be assigned a schedule during training that falls within the time frame of your shift. You will not be scheduled for the entire time frame.
1st Shift (Sunday – Saturday) may start as early as 3:00 am and end as late as 7:00 pm.
2nd Shift (Sunday – Saturday) may start as early as 11:00 am and end as late as 3:00 am
3rd Shift (Sunday – Saturday) may start as early as 7 pm and end as late as 11:00 am
• You will not be assigned your regular schedule until you have already begun training – you must be available for the full timeframe of the shift that you accept!
• All agents must be available to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed – no exceptions.
• After working 60 days with Goodyear, you will be eligible to submit a request for a schedule change. Consideration will be based on business demand, attendance, and work performance.
• You cannot miss any days in the first 30 days of employment as this is your training period. Absences during this time period will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and depending on the situation; you may be allowed to restart training. We cannot guarantee time off during the first 60 days.
REQUIRED COMPUTER EQUIPMENT
• Computer Processor must be an i5 Intel core processor or have a benchmark score of 4,000 or higher.
• (Macbooks, Netbooks, and Chromebooks DO NOT qualify for this job)
• The RAM memory must be 12 GB or higher. Preferably 16+ GB
• Webcam (used for training and all meetings)
• 2 Monitors (15+ inches)
• External Mouse with scroll
• Headset with a microphone (USB preferred) (Bluetooth not recommended)
• Ethernet Cable. NO WIFI.
• Must use Google Chrome web browser and have Firefox, and/or Edge as a backup web browser
• Operating System: Windows 7 or newer
